Northline Reviews is an independent research-based buying guide for desk, travel, home and digital gear. This page is for brand and affiliate managers who want to know what the site is, who it serves, and how we work before offering a partnership.
Straight answer on our size
The site launched in September 2026. It is new. We are not going to claim traffic we do not have, and we are not going to inflate numbers to make an application look stronger than it is.
What we do have is a finished, technically sound site with original long-form content, a clear editorial method, and no history of thin or scraped pages. If you are looking for a partner who can grow with a programme rather than someone who already has an audience, that is exactly the stage we are at.

How we write
Clear up front: our articles are research-based buying guides. We analyse specifications, engineering constraints and reported failure patterns rather than running long-term hands-on tests of every product. We say so on the site, and we will say so in any partnership conversation.
Every article starts from a constraint rather than a product. Pipe clearance, desk depth, port bandwidth, cabin sizer frames, version-history windows. The question we answer is not "which one is best" but "which one fits this specific situation, and where does it fail".

- Every review includes trade-offs and a stated failure mode
- No listicles built from manufacturer specifications
- No AI bulk publishing; each piece is written and reviewed individually
- Published dates and update dates are shown on every article
Our link policy right now
The site currently carries no affiliate links and no paid placements.That is deliberate: we did not want commercial links on the site before we had decided which programmes were a genuine fit.
If a partnership is agreed, the relevant pages and the disclosure policy will be updatedbefore the first tracked link goes live. Links will be markedrel="sponsored nofollow", and the disclosure will name the relationship plainly.
What we will not do: accept payment for a positive verdict, publish manufacturer-written copy, or hide a flaw because a commission is attractive.
What we look for in a partner
- A product whose specifications and known failure modes we can describe honestly, including its downsides
- Clear commission terms and a tracking setup that works without custom engineering
- A returns process that does not leave readers stranded
- No requirement to remove or soften criticism
What we can offer now
- Original, indexable long-form content that stays online and gets updated

What we cannot offer yet
Volume. If your programme requires a minimum monthly traffic or sales threshold today, we will not meet it, and we would rather say so now than waste your time.
